The Real Sarah... Lovely Submitted on: 2009-05-13 |

| I was a casual Sarah fan until 1997 when I won tix to see her live and it changed my mind. This is the way I fell in love with her music -- bare bones, showcasing her amazing voice and excellent song-writing. I am a little biased, I guess, being such a die-hard fan all these years since, but really I can't imagine anyone who truly loves music not enjoying this CD. Some have said that it is only for "real" Sarah fans, but I think anyone who gives this more than one listen will find it grows on them even if they don't consider themselves a fan of hers. I just can't believe I went this long without having it in my collection! I now have everything and can't wait for something new. :-) |

| Great if you are already a major Sarah Mclachlan fan, but it won't make one out of those who are not. |

A new twist on an old favorite Submitted on: 2008-06-11 |
|
| The beautiful, ethereal songs or Sarah Mclachlan are expanded and stretched and molded beautifully into something out of the ordinary on these new versions of some of her best-known works. All the songs are done differently yet the essence remains. This is my favorite of her CDs. |
